Spot Welder

Overview:

The Spot Welder uses spot welding machines, spot-welds stainless steel parts together on a numerous variety of components and sub-assemblies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Welds pre-machined stainless steel parts together that may or may not be located by means of tooling or machining
  • Assembles component parts to specific fixtures for locating and aligning prior spot welding
  • Assembles small parts and assembly requires manual dexterity
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned

Education and Experience:

  • HS diploma required
  • Minimum 1 year progressive experience in electro-mechanical assembly
  • Friendly, enthusiastic and a good team player
  • Efficient, accurate, attentive to detail
  • Self-motivated and willing to take initiative

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
