The Hydra-Electric Board of Directors announced the appointment of David E. Schmidt as chief executive officer. An accomplished aerospace executive, David brings over 30 years experience in the industry, including leadership positions at Meggitt PLC and Esterline Technologies Corporation. Most recently David served as president of Hartzell Aerospace where his leadership delivered extraordinary growth and profitability resulting in the company’s acquisition by ITT (NYSE:ITT) earlier this year.
