The San Fernando Valley Business Journal recently announced that Gerry Schauer, Chief Financial Officer at Hydra-Electric Company, is among the finalists for the publication’s CFO of the Year Awards.
Gerry joined Hydra-Electric in 2014. During his tenure, the company has experienced steady growth, after several years of declining sales. This growth, along with a reorganized cost structure, has resulted in profitable and cash flow positive operations. Gerry’s efforts have been instrumental in developing and executing a 5-year strategic plan. He has also led initiatives which have reduced costs of risk management and healthcare while improving/maintaining coverage.
The winners will be announced at the 2016 CFO of the Year Awards ceremony, taking place on June 15, 2016. This event recognizes the important work of CFOs as financial stewards in public, private and other organizations.
